Amazon restores some order details to "Sold, ship now" e-mails
After receiving many complaints from sellers, Amazon is restoring several order details to "Sold, ship now" e-mails including:* Listing ID
* Condition
* Condition note
* Buyer's price
* Amazon commission
* Shipping Credit
* Your earnings
But Amazon isn't restoring buyer shipping or e-mail addresses. Here's the full announcement.

Too little, too late, as I see it. I stopped using SSNs as anything more than a heads-up many months ago.
I use AOB, so I don't need SSNs, and even before AOB, I used the "Recent Marketplace Orders" link on my seller account page.
Nevertheless, Amazon has a habit of routinely making business choices that lower the value of the entire venue for sellers, in my opinion.
This little backtracking step may mollify some sellers a bit, but it doesn't appear to be much of a trend yet.
All wrong! All wrong! Amazon is once again showing both customers and sellers it doesn't have a clear plan for future growth. Why oh why put this information in a place it doesn't want sellers to go. Why isn't it in one clear, central place, protected by one password. Why do we have to go clicking all over the place to get information we use daily. If the customer email information is so important that its not in our mail, but it is on our account infomation accessible without a password -- inventory is, financial information is. Bandaids on bandaids. And no clear, clean way of doing business.
That's good news. I found I had to go to about three different places to complete an order. But I think now I only have to go to three places. Wait did I say three again?
Also the sale reports that I can download EVERY DAY, why can't I just get that day's sales? Why do I have to DL 15 days of sales every single stinking day?
I have to completely rethink how I do this after doing it my way for three years.
Very frustrating.
