Colleges are responding to textbook thefts by marking books with invisible ink, requiring used bookstores to keep logs of sellers, and banning resale of expensive books by non-students.

Sounds like an issue that will just drive more students to Amazon, or Amazon sellers who will pay them cash upfront without all the hassle. I take fliers to college campuses and offer to make house calls and buy back textbooks. It's amazing how many students take you up on it. Now I can see why....
