J.R. Rain traded in his career as a private investigator for life as a full-time mystery novelist. He discovered his flair for writing in his youth, thanks to the “Choose Your Own Adventure” books. He completed his fifth novel while still in high school.
At age 28, J.R. began writing screenplays, working exclusively with Paramount Pictures and Alphaville Productions developing various movie and TV projects.
In the meantime, he’s completed 48 books, and has been busy publishing them independently. He tops today’s Buffet with Book 1 in his “Vampire for Hire” series, Moon Dance.
Currently J.R. lives in the Pacific Northwest, where he lives in a small house on a small island with his small dog, Sadie.
