Novelist Steve Gannon is best known as the author of A Song for the Asking, a bestselling police/family saga originally published by Bantam Books. His current “Kane Family” series includes the suspense thriller titled Kane, which was released in 2011 and it tops today’s Buffet.

A native of North Carolina, Steve has pursued various careers — as actor, electrical engineer, dentist, builder, and concert promoter. Currently he lives in southern Idaho, where he is the Executive Director of Sun Valley Artist Series, a nonprofit organization that promotes the art of classical music. He is married to pianist Susan Spelius Dunning.
